Appointment Management for Doctors
This guide outlines how doctors can manage appointments, focusing on scheduling, viewing, and modifying consultations. Note that post-appointment actions, such as marking consultations as completed, are covered in a separate guide.
1. Notifications and Overview
Doctors receive email notifications when:
A new appointment is scheduled.
An appointment is edited or cancelled.
Notifications include appointment details, such as patient information, consultation time, and type.
2. Accessing and Managing Appointments
View Appointments:
Login and navigate to the Dashboard or Consultations List.
Use tabs to filter appointments:
Upcoming: Appointments scheduled for a future date.
In Consultation: Ongoing consultations.
Cancelled: Appointments that were cancelled.
Updating Appointments:
For upcoming appointments:
Click Edit to update consultation details (e.g., time or date).
Use the Cancel option to notify the athlete and free the time slot.
Start Consultation:
When the consultation time arrives, click Start to begin the session.

3. Payment Status Tracking
Doctors cannot process or update payment statuses.
They can view whether the athlete has completed a payment or not.
Notifications and Key Details
Both athletes and doctors are notified via email of:
Scheduled consultations.
Modifications to appointment details.
Cancellations.
Appointment cards provide detailed information, including:
Patient and doctor names.
Contact details.
Consultation type, date, and time.
Payment status (visible to doctors but not editable).
By following this guide, athletes can efficiently schedule, view, and manage appointments, ensuring a smooth experience for both parties.
