The "Consultations" feature in the Olymedic application offers a robust platform for managing medical consultations efficiently, tailored for sports professionals and medical organizations. Below is an in-depth overview of the key functionalities and components associated with consultations, based on the provided screens and their features:

Navigation Details


Accessing the Consultations Module

  1. Dashboard Navigation:

    • From the main Dashboard, click on the Consultations menu in the top navigation bar or sidebar.

    • This opens the "Consultations" Dashboard, displaying a categorized overview of consultations.

  2. Filters and Tabs:

    • Use the tabs at the top of the consultations page to filter consultations:

      • All: Displays all consultations.

      • Upcoming: Shows scheduled consultations awaiting initiation.

      • In Consultation: Displays ongoing consultations.

      • Completed: Lists consultations that are finished.

  3. Search and Quick Actions:

    • Use the search bar to quickly locate a consultation by the patient's name or contact details.

    • Each consultation card provides options for quick actions, such as Continue, Start, Edit, Cancel, or View Invoice.

Starting a New Consultation


  1. New Consultation Button:

    • Click on the New Consultation button on the Consultations Dashboard.

    • This opens the consultation creation form.

  2. Filling Consultation Details:

    • Navigate through dropdown fields to:

      • Select the patient.

      • Assign the sport and doctor.

      • Choose an organization (if applicable).

    • Select an available consultation time from the time slot picker.

  3. Save and Start:

    • Once all fields are filled, click Save to schedule the consultation.

    • If required, initiate the consultation immediately by clicking Start.

Managing Ongoing Consultations


  1. In Consultation Tab:

    • Navigate to the In Consultation tab to view ongoing consultations.

    • Click Continue on the relevant card to re-enter the consultation interface.

  2. Consultation Dashboard:

    • Inside the consultation, you can access:

      • Patient Details: Displayed on the left panel, showing personal and emergency contact information.

      • Consultation Tabs: Organized for Problems, Examinations, Medications, SOAP Notes, and Medical Reports.

    • Use the Add New buttons on each tab to update information during the consultation.

  3. Finalizing the Consultation:

    • After completing the required steps, navigate to the Finish Consultation button to end the session.

Reviewing Completed Consultations


  1. Completed Tab:

    • Access completed consultations via the Completed tab.

    • Click on the three-dot menu for options like:

      • View Consultation: Review details of the completed consultation.

      • View Invoice: Open and review financial summaries.

  2. SOAP Notes and Medical Records:

    • Within the consultation details, review SOAP notes, uploaded medical reports, or other associated documents.

Navigating Patient History


  1. Accessing History:

    • From the Consultation Dashboard, click on the Patient History button in the right panel.

    • This opens a side menu with options for:

      • Personal Information: Height, weight, and blood type.

      • Medical History: Chronic illnesses, past surgeries, and family history.

      • Vaccinations: Immunization records.

      • Allergies: Details of known allergies.

      • Documents and Imaging: Uploaded medical reports.

  2. Seamless Integration:

    • Navigate back to the consultation with a single click while retaining access to patient history.

Handling Financials and Invoices


  1. Generate Invoice:

    • Inside the consultation, use the Generate Invoice button to itemize services (e.g., consultation fee, imaging tests, medications).

    • Specify charges and save the invoice for the patient.

  2. Payment Status Updates:

    • Navigate to the Completed Tab in consultations to view payment statuses:

      • Pending: Indicates payment is yet to be completed.

      • Paid: Confirms payment has been processed.

  3. Viewing Invoices:

    • Use the three-dot menu on a consultation card to open the View Invoice option.

  • The top navigation bar and sidebar menu provide quick access to the Consultations Dashboard.

  • Tabs and filters offer an intuitive way to locate consultations based on their status.

  • Within consultations, the Patient History panel and tabbed sections (Problems, Medications, SOAP, etc.) allow doctors to move fluidly between different aspects of the patient’s health records.
